How Jason Aldean Shocked Me, Gave Me Goosebumps and Made My Weekend [VIDEO]

We are still in a bit of a state of shock over what happened in Las Vegas last weekend and a little laughter is always a good cure for what is ailing you. This weekend my wife and I did some 'honey-do list' items and were just settling in on Saturday night to watch Saturday Night Live in hopes a laugh or two would feel good, I got that and much more.

When the show began I thought they might do some kind of tribute to Las Vegas but I never expected what I saw. The lights came up and there was Jason Aldean standing there on the stage. He gave a heartfelt speech that gave me goosebumps and then broke into Tom Petty's "I Won't Back Down". It could not have been more perfect. I got goosebumps, felt the tears well up and then felt a burst of American pride. Thank you Jason and SNL...that was class. Here it is in case you missed it.
