How Do You Trap a Bear? Animal Dines in Boulder Kitchen
A bear that went through a Boulder home's screen window Friday night is still on the loose. Colorado Parks and Wildlife has set a trap for the bear, but it has not been caught so far. According to the Boulder Daily Camera, CPW Area Wildlife Manager Larry Rogstad said,
"Generally when a bear enters a house and tries to come back again, obviously it's a bear we have some concerns about," Rogstad said. "We'll wait to see if we do trap the bear, but there is a high probability the bear will have to be euthanized."
So, how do you trap a bear? I ran across this Youtube video of two CPW officers
showing how it's done. The cameraman, Glen Eash, did a good job shooting and narrating. Watch the video now.
