Early Saturday morning in Old Town Fort Collins a man was seriously injured in a hit and run incident. Dillon Moss, 21, of Fort Collins was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after his SUV was spotted based on witnesses description and damage consistant with the collision. At approximately 1 a.m. Dalton Zerlan, 32, of Fort Collins was hit by the northbound SUV while crossing College avenue. He was transported to Medical Center of the Rockies with serous injuries. Witnesses stated to police that Zerlan was walking from east to west and was not in a crosswalk at the time of the hit and run. Police believe that both men involved in the accident had consumed alcohol mostly like contributing to the crash.
