Historic Meeker Home in Greeley Open Saturday, May 4th For Tours
Here’s your chance to see the 1870 Meeker Home Museum, which was the home of Greeley’s founding family. You can follow a costumed tour guide and learn about the Meeker family’s successes and failures on Saturday, May 4th, from 10 am – 2 pm.
This month’s themed tour will focus on the Meeker family parents, Nathan and Arvilla, and their unique secular and spiritual beliefs and lifestyle. A costumed tour guide will be leading tours on the hour, every hour.
The Meeker Home is located at 1324 9th Ave. in Greeley. The home is open one Saturday of the month for tours through September. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for seniors and $1 for children ages 6 -11.
