A trained storm spotter clocked a wind gust of 98 mph. Nearby Nederland saw winds over 70 mph on Wednesday.

High winds will continue across the Front Range mountains and foothills through Thursday with gusts up to 80 mph.  While those strongest winds will remain confined to the high country…A few gusts in excess of 40 mph will be possible down onto the plains.
