Help Me Wish My Grandson Zayden a Happy 2nd Birthday – Brian’s Blogs

It is my grandson Zayden's birthday today. My little guy is turning the big TWO! I can't believe how fast the time flies. He has turned into such a little buddy. I just love his little head of curly hair. He so often has this disheveled look about him that makes him look like Waylon at the end of a long show. During my daughters pregnancy with Zayden I got a feeling that the man above was talking to me and telling me that this little guy was going to make an important difference in this world. He has. He has made me realize how much I want to be around to watch him grow up and enjoy all he is going to do. That has made me take better care of myself and make me feel better than I have in years. I owe that to Zayden.

All this guy wants to do is laugh and make you laugh. I get to come home each day to hear "papa, I missed you!" followed by a huge hug. We get to sit and watch Paw Patrol or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or his favorite Blaze and the Monster Machines. The boy loves his trucks. I can't wait to get home today and snuggle under the blanket he carries with him everywhere and celebrate 2 years of being blessed by this little gift. I love you Zayden. Happy Birthday buddy.
