Help K99 Honor the Lives of D’s Kids, Colton & Ashley Fischer

It has been a rough past week for all of us here at K99 as we reflect back on the tragic events that claimed the lives of two of D Dennison's kids, Colton and Ashley Fischer. Yesterday we joined D to remember their lives and the joy that they brought to all of ours, but we also want to give everyone a chance to help in such a tough situation as we have received numerous requests.

Since our initial announcement of the heartbreaking news, we have all been overwhelmed by the support and prayers from all of our listeners. It is very touching to see everyone come together with a heartfelt willingness to help. Now that the initial shock of what has happened is over, we have come up with a way that you can aid us in honoring the lives of Colton & Ashley Fischer.

We plan to help in a few different ways through a central fund that has been created. D has specified a charity for donations to be directed to for each of the kids; the Larimer Child Advocacy Center for Ashley and the Rocky Mountain High School Booster Club for Colton. A portion of the money will also go towards a memorial for both of them, which we will let D choose when she is ready.
