Happy Birthday to My Hero, My Friend, My Dad

I want to wish a happy birthday to my hero, my dad. I was one of the fortunate ones who grew up knowing I was loved and cared for every single minute of my life. I was taught how to give and receive love. I was taught that laughter, kindness and compassion are 3 of the keys to being a good human and a happy human. I was taught how a man should love, honor and cherish the women in his life. I was taught how to listen and know when to talk and know when silence is more powerful.

I have been taught so many things by my wonderful father. If I can be even a quarter of what my dad is to me to my children...I am a success. I love, admire and respect my dad more than any man alive and I am so proud to call him my dad and best friend. He has never failed me and I will spend my life doing all I can to make him proud.

Happy birthday dad. You are still my hero. I love you. Have a Crown on the rocks on me Pa.
