There is nothing like a homemade item for the holidays. Every year when my mom decorates her tree, she puts up this handmade ornament we gave her years ago. It says "from your Colorado star," she cries and thinks of me. I know she has a snowman I painted when I was a child that still hangs from the tree as well.
