It can literally mean the difference between life and death for a friend, a loved one or someone one the street. Free CPR training is coming to Greeley, January 24th.

As the Greeley Tribune reported, having CPR training is knowledge that can save a life.

So the City of Greeley Heart Safe City Project and the Greeley Fire Department will be offering a free CPR training session at 9 a.m. Jan. 24.

The training, made possible through a North Colorado Medical Center Donation, will take place in the Nusbaum Training Room of Fire Station No. 1, 919 7th St. in Greeley.

The session is for Greeley residents and residents of the Western Hills Fire Protection District. The course will not result in certification, but will teach CPR and the basic use of an Automated External Defibrillator.

To sign up for the course, call the Greeley Fire Department at (970) 350-9508. The free CPR session is first-come, first-served with a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 24.
