Greeley Teachers and Administrators Reach Agreement
Greeley-Evans School District 6 and the Greeley Education Association have reached a tentative contract agreement for the 2013-14 school year. According to the Greeley Tribune, the negotiating teams will meet again next week to work through the detail, and the agreement still must be approved by the teachers and the school board. The new contract is usually approved by the end of June.
“Everyone felt that the positive results of the collaboration reached beyond the contract itself,” said District 6 Chief Operations Officer Wayne Eads in a statement. “All team members felt that their voices were heard, and the foundation of mutual respect and trust has grown stronger with all members sharing open communications in a professional way.”
