Not only is the Greeley Stampede a great time for just about anyone, it's also a chance to get involved in your community by helping out our local charities, like the Weld Food Bank.

I was talking with a friend of mine today, Carl Moore/Parade Chairman, and the smile on his face when talking about this years Stampede 'fans' was contagious. The idea is to raise $5000 for the Weld Food Bank with these simple 'fans' that everyone can use for any occasion.

Rodeo's, concerts, walking around all the vendors and if you're planning on attending this years 4th of July parade, then you especially want one of these bad boys. The cost is only $3 or get two of them for $5. I thought it was such a great deal, I gave Carl $5 for one of them.

You can get them during the entire run of the Greeley Stampede by visiting one of the big parade tents by the Bunkhouse on the NW corner of the Island Grove complex. If you don't want to walk over their directly, keep an eye out for the Radio Flyer Wagons inside the park who will me making rounds throughout event.

A big personal thank you from me, to the Parades Committee, for putting this together to help our own and feed those who need it.
