Greeley-Evans School District 6 is installing new security systems at 16 schools in the district. All of the district's traditional elementary and K-8 schools are now equipped with buzzer and video systems that will require visitors to identify themselves and be buzzed into the school. The new systems, which include video monitors, mean all doors to elementary and K-8 buildings will be locked during school hours beginning immediately, and anyone wanting entry will have to identify themselves to office staff first.
