Heck of Monday for a man in Greeley the other day. It's cold, it's the Monday after Christmas, and then.... his truck gets stolen.

'Puffing' is illegal, pretty much for that reason.

Nobody likes to get in their cold vehicle and drive to work; especially on a Monday. Throw in it being the Monday after Christmas weekend, and you'd be hard-pressed to find somebody saying, 'This is going to be a fun day!'

A non-fun day is exactly what happened early Monday morning, as a man went out and started his truck and then went back inside his home. That's called 'Puffing', and it is illegal. Shortly after the man went inside, he had to call police because somebody had taken off in it!

Police responded, and did see the truck and pursued for a bit, but in the end, let the truck go.  A little while after that, they received word that the truck had crashed into parked cars in a neighborhood across town. By the time the police arrived, the driver of the stolen truck had taken off. No arrests have been made as of yet.

So, the man who was 'puffing' his truck to get it warmed up, will now be dealing with his insurance. I'm sure they won't be pleased about him leaving his running car unattended... Good luck, buddy!
