I love a good poker run and the ones that start at a fire station are awesome. Meet some of the finest people ever and maybe they'll even let you toot a horn.

OK, so don't go telling them I said you could "toot the horn." But hey, it never hurts to ask so bring all your riding buddies out this weekend and have a great ride and raise some money for an even better cause.

This year's Greeley Firefighters Local 888 run takes place on Sunday, June 1, and starts at Fire Station #2 (2301 Reservoir Rd.) in Greeley, beginning at 10:00 a.m. There will be shirts available at registration and some great prizes at the end too. Cost is only $15 per hand or $20 for two.

This years proceeds will benefit Jordan Hughes, a University High School senior and an Acute Myeloid Leukemia “AML” Survivor. All monies provided through the Greeley Firefighters Benevolent Fund.
