Are your kids up to date on their vaccinations?  If not, and your child is enrolled in the Greeley-Evans School, they won't be allowed in school in November.

Just a heads up for parents with kids in a District 6 school: If your child is not up to date on their shots, they will NOT be allowed back in school starting Monday, November 3 until they are.

If you're not sure, you might want to check with your schools health nurse/clerk to make sure immunization records are filed and current.

Colorado law requires that kids in public schools are vaccinated to prevent certain diseases that include Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis, Polio, Measles/Mumps/Rubella, Varicella (chickenpox) and Hepatitis B. Additional vaccines that are recommended but not required are: Influenza, Meningococcal Meningitis, Human Papillomavirus and Hepatitis A.

For more information, please contact the health office at any District 6 school.
