Thursday, June 9

12:30 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 2500 block of 9th Avenue on a report of a man with a mohawk who’d been on a roof all morning, trying to get down. The caller said once the man finally got off the roof, he ran from one neighbor’s backyard to the next, jumping over fencing and eventually hiding in a garage.

2:45 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 800 block of 36th Avenue on a report of a woman getting threatening text messages from an unknown acquaintance of her roommate’s. The caller said she’d loaned her phone to her roommate and ever since then, she’d been receiving threatening text messages meant for her roommate, and they wouldn’t stop.

4:30 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 2100 block of 30th Street on a report of a baby’s father who wouldn’t give the child back, as required by a court order, because he didn’t believe the documents were real.

8:15 p.m.: Greeley police were called to the 700 block of 23rd Street on a report of what appeared to be an employee at a telemarketing service who called a woman and told her to call 911.

10:15 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 1200 block of 8th Street on a report of several sporty cars driving around the block as drunk people screamed and yelled.

Friday, June 10

12:15 a.m.: Greeley police responded the area of 10th Street and 9th Avenue on a report of a shirtless man with spaceship underwear, a bottle of alcohol and a guitar following the caller for almost half an hour.

10:15 a.m.: Greeley police responded to the 3400 block of 4th Street on a report of a man whose family had taken away his phone and car after he kept falling victim to scams.

11:30 a.m.: Greeley police responded to a park in the 800 block of 10th Avenue on a report of a man walking up to every woman there asking them where their husbands were.

12:15 p.m.: Greeley police responded to a retail store on the 300 block of 8th Street on a report of a man who came back to the store the day after he tried to shoplift, asking employees for the drugs he’d left at the store.

12:45 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 1900 block of 30th Street on a report of an out-of-town woman whose husband broke her cellphone and then drove away, leaving her stranded.

4 p.m.: Greeley police responded to a pool on the 2300 block of Reservoir Road on a report of a man who yelled profanity at a teacher in front of her students during a field trip.

8:15 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 4900 block of 29th Street on a report of a neighbor angrily using bad language and waving their cane as they told another neighbor that an oxygen machine was too loud.

Saturday, June 11

3 a.m.: Greeley police responded to the 500 block of 35th Avenue on a report of a man who wouldn’t let his fiancé, who had just gotten out of jail, into his house.

1:45 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 1400 block of 23rd Avenue on a report of a woman who broke the doorknob off as she tried to break into her own house.

5:15 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 1000 block of 14th Street on a report of a woman arguing about Medicaid.

5:30 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 2800 block of 10th Street on a report of a crazy online zealot.

6:30 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 800 block of 10th Avenue on a report of “two homeless angels” blowing up the caller’s phone.

7:45 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 2100 block of 5th Street on a report of two drunk men trying to carry each other.

10:45 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 300 block of 17th Street on a report of a man borrowing his friend’s car and then never coming back.

Sunday, June 12

2:45 a.m.: Greeley police responded to a supermarket in the 900 block of 47th Avenue on a report of a woman yelling at people, flashing the cashier and manager and then leaving.

10 a.m.: Greeley police responded to the 5100 block of 29th Street on a report of a woman who looked “crazy” and was making kids get things out of a garage.
