Well, another Greeley-Evans Crime log is out and this one might just be for the record books. This one includes rubbing alcohol, some binoculars and...spy-proof shoes?

As the Greeley Tribune reported, this log is from June 5th through June 9th.

7:15 p.m.: Greeley police responded to the 1900 block of 11th Avenue for a report of a 10-year-old who had been playing in a dumpster for more than two hours.

Sunday, June 7

10:30 a.m.: Greeley police responded to the 700 block of 15th Street to speak to a woman who wanted legal advice about whether she could use binoculars to look at her neighbors. The caller said the neighbors were using binoculars to look at her, but she wanted to make sure it was legal before she did the same.

5 p.m.: Greeley police responded to 54th Avenue for a theft report. When officers arrived, a man said he watched two girls steal a skateboard from a neighbor’s yard. The man ran after the girls, caught up with them, recovered the skateboard and took their picture with his cell phone while they were crying. The man wanted police to respond to the area, so he could file a report.

8 p.m.: Evans police responded to a flooded area near 65th Avenue and 49th Street for a report of a snake in the middle of the road. The caller wanted police or city officials to respond and post signs warning residents about the snake.

Tuesday, June 9

1:30 a.m.: Greeley police responded to the 2600 block of 1st Street for an attempted theft report. The caller told police her car had been broken into the previous night, so her boyfriend hid in the car to catch the perpetrators when they returned.
