It was over 100 degrees in Greeley yesterday, breaking a 40-year-old record. According to the National Weather Service, Monday’s high temperature hit 101 degrees, which topped the record temperature of 98 set in 1973. It was a record 99 degrees at D.I.A yesterday. The high in Pueblo was 103 degrees.  This heat wave is expected to continue.  Officials say hot temperatures and gusty winds make for High Fire Danger all across our state. We are all encouraged to be mindful of our pets needs during hot weather.
