A small wildland fire is burning on US Forest Service lands in a remote area several miles east of Estes Park, Colorado, and north of Highway 34. The approximately two acre Granite Gulch fire was reported late this afternoon.

A light helicopter and 22 firefighters from five agencies are working on the fire.

No structures are threatened at this time.
