Todd Scoops Poop

There is really nothing in the world that feels better than helping a friend who needs it. Yesterday a few us gathered at the station at noon and headed to Susan's barn to help clean the horse poop. Susan had a rough accident earlier this week and is the last person to ask for help so we didn't wait to be asked and just swept, or scooped, into action.

Susan has four horses in the barn and they can create as much waste as Todd and I do. It is a daily job to clean and if you have been beaten up by a horse you really don't have the strength to do it all yourself, although she would have anyway. Our business manager Amy Harris, myself, Todd and a record rep from Nashville Brad Helton all did our part. I was so impressed with Brad. He called me to see if we could do lunch and I told him that we were going to go help Susan and he asked if he could come help. That is a class guy right there. Susan's husband Bob was so appreciative he took us out for lunch afterwards.

I left there feeling better than I have felt in a long time. It felt great to do something good for someone and to do it with a group of friends who grew closer from sharing the experience. Don't wait for someone to ask for help. Find out how you can lend an unasked for hand and feel the feeling of satisfaction that it brings. We are here to help our fellow man. Let's make that a priority. It makes the whole world feel better. If you need the K99 poop scoop crew let us know..it will cost you lunch.
