The 20th annual 28 Hours of Hope is April 12th into the 13th and this year will be bigger and better than ever. Brian and I will stay on the air for 28 consecutive hours to help fight child abuse in Northern Colorado.  For the 1st 19 years K99 listeners have raised about a million and a half dollars for Life Stories (Formerly A Kid's Place), Voices Carry (Formerly Larimer County CAC), and Namaqua Center.

In 2018 we are adding a new charity to the mix. We will also be raising money for ChildSafe, which provides therapy for victims of sexual abuse.

ChildSafe Executive Director Lisa Poppaw told me:

ChildSafe is thrilled to be part of the 28 Hours of Hope! Not only does this enable us to provide life-saving therapy to more children and families, but it helps us spread the word that there is hope and healing for victims of child abuse and child sexual abuse. Thank you, Good Morning Guys, for all you do for the kids in our community.
