For fans who are completely in love with Carrie Underwood's 'Sunday Night Football' intro, there's more. You can go behind the scenes of her SNF opening shoot and hear more of the singer's thoughts about her rendition of the song, as well as what she thinks about football.

"This song has become a part of Sunday Night Football," Underwood explains. From the beginning, she's been vocal about the privilege and honor she feels in taking over Faith Hill's longtime position.

She's not the only one who's excited.

In the behind-the-scenes video, a few football players seemed positively giddy about the beautiful country star and one admitted with an impish smile that he was hoping to meet her.

Although there may have been pressure for Underwood to adhere to the basic feel of the song, she feels good about how it turned out. "I really just wanted to be myself; I put my stamp on it," she said, adding, "Sunday night is just the time to sit down and enjoy some football!"

In a little over a week, Underwood's version will debut and the opening number will feature 13 NFL players, including Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Eli Manning, and Larry Fitzgerald along with many other fan favorite football stars. NBC’s first SNF broadcast of the NFL season will take place Sept. 8 as the Dallas Cowboys host the New York Giants.

From the backstage footage, it looks like nabbing Underwood for the theme song was like scoring a major touchdown for NBC, as her stellar vocals make SNF even more enjoyable.
