The Colorado State University Board of Governors will hear public input this morning on the proposed on-campus stadium.

The meeting is scheduled for 8-10 a.m. during a regularly scheduled meeting in the Cherokee Park Ballroom in the Lory Student Center. President Tony Frank has recommended that they move ahead with the stadium project.  His announcement specified that state general funds, state tuition or fees and tax proceeds shouldn’t be used to fund the proposed  facility.  There are concerns that taxpayers could end up footing the bill for services on potential debt incurred.  He will give a presentation at 10 this morning.

A group in support of building a new stadium, Be Bold, will likely speak and those opposing, Save Our Stadium Hughes, also plan to speak.
