Get Ready for Fall and Winter Reading with Loveland’s Used Book Sale!
Fall and winter mean being inside more. With that, a lot of folks get a lot of reading done! Why not save a lot of cash on reading material, while helping to raise a lot of cash for the Loveland Public Library?
Last year’s two used book sales, put on by the Friends of the Loveland Public Library, took in over $30,000! That money goes towards supporting programs at the library, including one I didn’t even know about: The Loveland Lights Gingerbread Challenge!
The weekend of October 24-25 in Loveland at The Ranch, get out to browse, and to stock up on books! Kids books, novels, non-fiction, technical books, travelogues… Wiih 60,000 books on hand, the selection will go on and on!
Saturday, books will run from a quarter up to $3. On Sunday, brace yourself: Get a bag of books for only $5! This time around they will have about 15,000 more books than they usually do; because Anthology Book Co, which closed down about two years ago, donated a good portion of their stock; and from Book Haven, which is moving because of Sprouts!
If you love to read, you could spend a good portion of your day just browsing! I know that I have.. This is a well-run used book sale. They’ve been holding it twice a year for many years, with professionalism and fun! So get to The Ranch, and get to reading!
