George Strait’s Ode to His Ex’s Hit Number One 29 Years Ago Today [VIDEO]

George Strait has had so many signature songs over the years. They are those songs that you cannot see him in concert without hearing. The man has had 60 number one hits so there are many that would qualify but when it comes to George, there are a few that stand out though.

When you think of George you must think of "Amarillo by Morning", "I Cross My Heart", "The Fireman" and of course "All My Ex's Live in Texas". There are so many more that would fit the bill but there is not a country fan alive who doesn't know "All My Ex's..". That classic Strait hit topped the charts on this date back in 1987. It is hard to believe it has almost been 30 years now. I found a few versions of "All My Ex's.." done by other artists to celebrate the occasion along with the original from the king himself.
