We have some exciting news for George Strait fans; the country music legend announced this morning that he will play a concert at the Pepsi Center in Denver on April 5th, 2014! Tickets go on sale for the general public starting on October 4th.

Why is this such a big deal? Well this is George Strait's final tour so chances are you will never be able to see him perform in our area again. That being said tickets are sure to sell out extremely fast. When the country music icon played Spirit Arena in Lubbock, Texas earlier this year, the venue sold all 15,000 seats in the house within 20 minutes. However that's nothing compared to the Houston, Texas show back in March that sold out all 77,000 seats within Reliant Stadium in just 2 minutes! One tip we might offer if you really want tickets is to join the Official George Strait Fan Club, because members will be able to buy tickets for the tour a few days before they go on sale to the general public. K99 will have tickets to give away as the concert draws closer, and you can also enter to win a pair of front row tickets to the Denver concert on George Strait's official website.

This Denver concert is part of George Strait's "The Cowboy Rides Away" tour that began back in January 2013 and continues through 2014 when George will hang up his hat for good.
