I can't tell you how pumped I am. I have been a fan of Gary Allan for many years and after a hiatus he's ready to release a new album late this year and I can't wait. Now, you can be one of the first to hear the first single called "Every Storm (Runs out of Rain)" on Brand New With Barnes (BNWB) then vote on if we should play it in a regular rotation. The idea is for you to help dictate the direction and success of all these new songs.

It's been a few years since we've heard any new music from Gary Allen and the wait is almost over. The album's (untitled as of now) first single is called "Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain)" and if it's any indication of the rest of the album it could be another good ride for Allen.

Allan’s wife, who committed suicide in 2004 after suffering from depression and migraines has ironically been an inspiration for some of his past writing skills with songs addressing her death that come straight from the heart like “We were crying” so I am more than curious to see where this road has taken him on the new project.

Hard to put my finger on what the song may be about exactly but it sounds like a song about when the healing has moved on to the final stage of moving on with ones life.  I'm interested in what you think so please feel free to leave your comments on how you perceived the new single.

It's gonna run out of pain, It's gonna run out of sting, It's gonna leave you alone, It's gonna set you free, set you free

I couldn't find any good video to do the song justice so I decided to just run the audio and not take a chance at ruining your first impression of the song.  Don't forget to cast your vote and we'll see where it goes.
