I always knew they were good people. They are proving it this week in Colorado. Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are not only country music icons. They are also volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and this week they are volunteering in Denver for the President Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project. They arrived at DIA yesterday.

According to a story from 9News: There have been about 400 volunteers on the Carter Work Project build site in the northwest neighborhood of Globeville. Eleven new townhomes are being built at the corner of East 51st Avenue and Sherman Street. Critical repairs are being made to 15 other properties.
