Garth Brooks mind blowing career has had so many high points and one of them came on this date in 1989. It was on this date 26 years ago that Garth hit the top of the charts for the first time. He would go on to do it many many more times but "If Tomorrow Never Comes" marked the first time he hit number one.

Garth followed that number one with "The Dance", "Friends in Low Places", "Unanswered Prayers", "Two of a Kind Working on a Full House" and "The Thunder Rolls" which were all number ones and "Not Counting You" which peaked at number two.

Here is a trip back to the end of the 80's and the start of an amazing career. Thanks for the music Garth.
