The Galena Fire west of Fort Collins is now 1,348 acres and is now at least 85% contained.  130 firefighters and 2 helicopters are getting the upper hand on the fire, but the wind has been a real booger.   According to the Larimer County Sheriff's Department, All pre-evacuation notices have been cancelled, but residents are advised to remain alert for changing conditions.

The fire was human caused, but details won't be available until the investigation is complete. No structures have been destroyed. 2 Firefighters were injured over the weekend, but they were treated and released from a local hospital.

Lory State Park and Horsetooth Mountain Park both remained closed due to the fire.
