Glen and Pam Fritzler have some of the best farm fresh produce money can buy, they may also be some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Unfortunately, almost everything that can go wrong on a farm has this year for the Fritzler's, but that hasn't stopped them from opening their produce stand for 13th consecutive year.

The stand located on U.S. 85 near Weld County Road 44, 4 miles south of LaSalle opened yesterday and will continue to be open seven days a week from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. throughout the summer. The stand will be closed tomorrow for the Fourth of July.

Because of there has been almost no rainfall and little water in his irrigation ditches Frtitzler said is produce could be limited later in the summer. However, sweet corn, peaches, onions, cucumbers, squash, pickles, cantaloupe, cherries and apricots is all on-hand now. Apples and other fruits and vegetables will be available later in the summer.
