Not all kids and/or parents like to trick or treat. Sometimes it's so much more ideal to go to a safe gathering full of festivities. That's exactly what the Town of Windsor and the Windsor Optimist Club will be doing for their annual Community Halloween Party. It's on Halloween, October 31st from 6-8 p.m. in the Community Recreation Center gym.

Several organizations like the Rotary Club, Windsor Severance Fire Rescue and Kiwanis Club help the event in providing a safe, family-friendly Halloween.

The night will include games and safe treats geared toward children age 12 and under. Come in costume, or not. There will be games, a rocket launch, bean bag toss and  more.

The Windsor Community Rec Center is at 250 11th Street in Windsor.
