Free Mulch Will be Available to Public in Fort Collins

One households Christmas tree becomes another households yard mulch and will available soon. The city of Fort Collins Forestry Department will provide the free wood mulch to the public on April 28th.

The Fort Collins Forestry Department says "loading assistance will be provided. Mulch will be loaded into open-top vehicles or trailers using a front-end loader. Residents will have to cover their loads upon leaving."

Pick up mulch from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 28th, at 1380 Hoffman Mill Road. Commercial businesses are not eligible.
