Is it just me or does eating ice cream kind of bring you back to being a kid again? Dairy Queen will be celebrating its 75th Anniversary with a free ice cream day on March 16th.

Dairy Queen has been serving that soft serve and other delicious treats for years and what better way to celebrate their 75th Anniversary by giving out free ice cream on Monday, March 16th.

The company isn't stopping there though. They will be giving out small treats to celebrate all year long.

The Huffington Post found out about some interesting facts about the frozen treats kingdom that you may not know about.

Here is a few of them:

1. The original formula for their soft-serve was developed in 1938.

2. The "curl" on top of the soft-serve is considered a trademark.

3. They also own Orange Julius! However, Dairy Queen itself is owned by Berkshire Hathaway (Yes, Warren Buffett).

4. The largest location is not even in America, it is in Saudi Arabia!

5. 1985, the year the Blizzard was introduced, more than 175 million were sold.

6. There are Dairy Queen locations in 30 countries.

So now that I have got your mouth watering for ice cream (you are welcome), don't forget to stop by and get your free cone on Monday, March 16th.
