Free Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event in Fort Collins
The City of Fort Collins is hosting a FREE Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Saturday June 1st from 9 am – 3 pm at the 415 E. Monroe St. Parking lot at southwest corner of the Fort Collins Youth Activity Center. This event is for residential household hazardous waste only!
WHAT YOU CAN DROP OFF:
- household batteries
- paint and pesticides
- compact fluorescents
- cleaning and automotive products
- mercury-containing items (thermostat and appliance switches, thermometers, button-shaped batteries)
Items not accepted:
- Explosives
- Asbestos
- Bio-waste (needles, bandages)
- Pharmaceuticals
- E-waste
