Fort Collins Woman Pleads Guilty to Killing Ex in 2011
A Fort Collins woman pleaded guilty yesterday to stabbing her ex-husband to death in 2011 after initially telling police she’d arranged for a stranger to attack him. Police had suspected from the start that Stephanie Theander killed her ex-husband, Gregg Theander. He was 48 years old and left two children, Hope, now age 12 and 11 year-old Lane. The Coloradoan reports Stephanie Theander pleaded guilty to a single count of second-degree murder, and all other charges were dropped. She’s due to be sentenced on June 26th.
