Fort Collins School Gets National Honor
Traut Core Knowledge Elementary in Fort Collins has been named a 2013 National Blue Ribbon school. It’s also their 20th anniversary this week, so there’s much to celebrate.
U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan announced yesterday that Traut was one of 286 U.S. schools selected for the award, given in recognition of academic excellence and student achievement.
The public is invited to celebrate the school’s anniversary on Friday on from 4-6 p.m. There is no need to RSVP, and the event is free.
