Irish Elementary in Fort Collins was one of several schools in Colorado and across the country to receive a bomb threat on Monday (May 23, 2016).

The automated phone threats were received around 11:30 a.m. (Mountain) and students were evacuated as the building was checked. The building was checked twice, and when it was determined that there was no credible threat, the students returned to their classes, about 30 minutes after the initial evacuation.

Though not all the schools issued evacuation notices, more than 6 schools across the state received the automated bomb threat, joining countless other schools across the country and the United Kingdom.

According to the Coloradoan, threats have been reported in New Hampshire, Wisconsin, California and even the U.K.
