The Fort Collins Police are seeking the community's help in determining who is responsible for vandalizing the Masonic Temple, located at 225 Oak Street in Old Town.

Dispatchers received a call around 12:10 p.m. on Monday, April 3, regarding spray paint that was found on both the steps and pillars of the Masonic Temple. The black graffiti appears to be upside-down crosses along with the phrase “great tribulation is at hand.” Police believe the incident happened sometime between Sunday evening and Monday morning, and due to the location and nature of the graffiti, it is currently being investigated as a bias-motivated crime.

Anyone with information about the suspect or incident is encouraged to contact Officer Ben Athearn at 970-221-6555 or bathearn@fcgov.com. People may also contact Crime Stoppers of Larimer County at 970-221-6868 or www.stopcriminals.org. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
