Fort Collins Police Department Shut Down: Bomb Scare
May 9, 2012 2:06 PM The Coloradoan is reporting that a bomb scare shut down the Fort Collins Police Department. Here’s what we know.
Details are slow in coming, but the Coloradoan has released a story indicating that a person dressed in a heavly-insulated bomb squad suit was seen on site. The person along with a robot were searching in the landscape. It is reported that a uniformed officer opened a microwave looking box without incident.
Fire and ambulance personnel were on site and the area was taped off with yellow (crime) tape.
There is no more information available at this time regarding the bomb scare. If and when any new information is provided we will pass the information along as we get it.
