Fort Collins Police may have a new pawtrol member of the Feline Unit after this domestic (cat) disturbance.

On Friday, Febraury 23 (thankfully not the 13th), Fort Collins Police Officer Paul crossed paths with a black cat — or, rather, he returned to his cruiser to find one sitting in the driver's seat (you know how cats are...).

Fort Collins Police shared via Twitter that the cat lives nearby, and is a frequent visitor. Purrhaps he's ready to catch some cat burglars; a good fit for the Feline Unit or Bomb-ay Squad.

OK, I'm done. Fort Collins Police also had a little fun with this, as they typically do.
