Fort Collins officer was injured while trying to arrest a Greeley man Friday night in old town.

33 year-old Adam Warner was harassing people in old town Friday night when Fort Collins Police Officers approached him. After several attempts to calm him, officers had to place him in a twist lock. Warner told the officers that he had a knife and then broke free from them and ran. The officer chased after him and had to tackle him that is when he was injured. In the tackle the officer fell and tore his right bi-cep, he also needed stitches.

Warner is looking at second-degree assault charges, felony menacing, resisting arrest and obstructing. According to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office, Warner has been released on a $9,000 bond.
