Whether you're sipping a Fat Tire on the patio at New Belgium, getting a closer look at how beer is actually made on a brew tour, or sampling all of the local flavors at a bar in Old Town, Fort Collins definitely has a thriving beer scene – so much so, that it's getting national recognition in USA Today's 2017 Readers' Choice Awards as a top city in that exact category.

"Just over an hour’s drive north of Denver, the city of Fort Collins punches well above its weight when it comes to beer. This city of only 150,000 houses the nationally-renowned heavyweight New Belgium as well as smaller, award-winning breweries such as Odell, Funkwerks and Equinox. College kids and outdoorsy locals welcome the night by sampling the best of the area’s output at a host of beer-focused bars (Tap and Handle, The Mayor of Old Town, The Forge Publick House)."

There are just 13 days left to vote for "Best Beer Scene" and as of February 28, Fort Collins was sitting at #3 on the leader board, currently being beat by Grand Rapids, Michigan and Asheville, North Carolina. Be sure to place your vote, so that we can get our hoppin' city to #1!
