A train headed north in the 2200 block area of South College Avenue in Fort Collins struck and killed a man Sunday Morning (June 26, 2016). According to the Coloradoan, the 54-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of several blunt-force traumas. It's being reported that the train conductor noticed several people on or near the tracks as he approached the area. The conductor slowed the train and sounded the horn. However, as he passed that location, the engineer stated that they "heard a collision." Fort Collins police responded to the area and discovered Bradley Orr at approximately 1:00 a.m., who later died at the scene. The death has been deemed an accident, however, there is an open investigation.
