Fort Collins Loomis Truck Robbed of $220K
A man working for the Loomis armored truck company in Fort Collins is accused of stealing about $220-thousand dollars while on the job. The Coloradoan reports 23-year-old Travis Binder was arrested last week for the April theft. Authorities say Binder had hidden the money in his backyard.
According to arrest documents, Binder told Larimer County deputies that he made a "spontaneous" decision to take the money. He was in possession of the bag of money in mid-April while loading a truck before making deliveries and the company has recovered most of it.
He is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
