Fort Collins to Lift Water Restrictions

Susan Moore, TSM

Those of us with dirt under our fingernails from digging in the garden and in MY case, planting 2 apple trees, are rejoicing in that we will have water to keep our gardens and flowers blooming all summer. Thanks to all of the moisture we’ve gotten recently, Fort Collins may soon lift its water restrictions.  Water restrictions that are in place limit lawn watering to twice each week and only between 6 p.m. and 10 a.m. A final decision by the Fort Collins City Council is expected later this week, with a formal announcement expected Friday.  BTW, I had to dig ANOTHER hole to move one apple tree far enough away from the other…making room for a pink rose bush…it’s sure a pretty view from my kitchen window.
