New details have emerged surrounding this week's Kmart standoff in Fort Collins.

Pauline Amaniera, 34, was arrested Monday after a 4-hour standoff in the Kmart parking lot at Drake and College in Fort Collins. She faces charges of criminal mischief, domestic violence, and outstanding warrants related to failure to comply with court orders. She is held without bond at the Larimer County Jail.

Amaniera - who found herself homeless - was staying with her ex-boyfriend for the last couple days. According to her arrest affidavit, she tried to set her leg on fire as her ex-boyfriend drove her to the parking lot of Car Toys (where he works) in her white Nissan Titan after he told her he did not want to get back together.

It was then that Amaniera went on a rampage - that of only a scorned lover.

After sending her ex-boyfriend a number of texts saying she was going to "make him hurt and feel the pain of everything, just like she had," Amaniera ran into his silver BMW in the Car Toys parking lot - the impact of which pushed into another car, causing $10,000 in damage.

Fast-forward to the middle of her Kmart parking lot standoff with police in which she held a fake pink handgun to her head, at approximately 12:15 p.m. Amaniera sent her ex-boyfriend another text: "I wouldn't have smashed your car if I thought I would live to see 1 more day."

During the standoff, police launched a canister of chemical gas through the back window of Amaniera's white Nissan Titan. That's when she put down her weapon - later determined to be an airsoft replica of a Glock handgun - and got out of the truck.
