Crews are searching for a Fort Collins hiker in Rocky Mountain National Park. A spokesperson for the park said that 38-year-old Brian Perri summited Mount Meeker on June 30th but hasn't been heard from since.

Perri sent a picture to a friend from the top of Mount Meeker. Park spokeswoman Kyle Patterson said Saturday that after Perri summited the 13,911-foot mountain he texted a photo of himself at the peak that day to a friend.

More than 60 people are searching by ground along with helicopter crews. A dog team from Larimer County Search and Rescue joined the efforts.

Park Rangers would like to hear from anyone who has been in the Mount Meeker area since June 30 — especially those who noticed abandoned gear or other clues. Please call (970) 586-1204.
