Fort Collins — Has the Overnight Road Construction and Road Closure Affected You?

Road construction is quite a pain in the shoulder, but when a major thoroughfare at Christmas time is shut down completely, even if it is overnight, it can be a nightmare. Has the construction affected you or have you barely noticed?

In case you haven't been affected and plan on doing any last minute Christmas shopping in North Fort Collins, you might want to get a heads up.

The City of Fort Collins is in the middle of a huge milestone in the bridge project on Mulberry over the Poudre River. Every night since Monday and through Saturday beginning at 8 p.m. through 6 a.m. the roadway will be closed. There is a detour at South Lemay to bypass the construction.Crews have been receiving and placing girders for the new bridge.

The full project is slated to be complete by Nov 2015
